Group Training – Pawsitive Pack
Pawsitive Pack: Fun and Effective Group Dog Training Classes
Group classes are held in our training center. Our programs are developed to give owners and their dogs the best chance to succeed with an emphasis on training the basic exercises while developing focus from your dog under various distractions. Your dog will have an opportunity to socialize with other dogs, learn manners and stimulate them mentally as well as physically while building a strong bond between you and your dog.
Method
Reward based training methods, using food, toys or praise.
Shaping the exercises through luring and body language and using a marker to indicate when the reward is coming (either clickers or verbal markers – Yes)
Food or praise are preferable to start your training with as they have a calming effect on your dog.
Later in the program we will show you how to remove the food rewards and replace with praise and how to use toys and play as a reward, depending on your dog’s reward preference.

Focus – Distraction Training
Starting with low level distractions and progressing until we can receive focus in many types of situations and with high level distractions in various environments and circumstances.
Duration Training
